Brass Filter Housings

Our brass filter housings are machined from solid brass bar, with nylon internals and a Viton seal. These filter housings are ideal for point-of-use instrument air filtration. The B360 series comes with our high flow 80C grade coalescing filter element which is ideal for heavily saturated air systems. The 80C grade pore structure removes large volumes of liquid and while providing a long service life for particulate removal.

For oxygen service and /or chemical capability we recommend our “OS” series which replaces the nylon internals with brass. Sintered bronze elements for compatibility are also available. Filters for oxygen service must be cleaned prior to use to remove any hazardous grease and other contaminants. We do offer this service by specifying “oxygen cleaning” when ordering the product. This “oxygen cleaning” service will clean the OS housings accordance to ASTM G93 to eliminate any harmful grease and other contaminants and utilize Krytox 205 lubricant upon reassembly.
