Our 241 series of rugged aluminum housings utilize a 9 1⁄2” long element giving the 380AHP-241 housing series a slightly higher flow rate versus the standard 380AHP which has the industry standard 6” long element. In many cases, extended 241mm (9.5”) long element provides the needed surface area to maintain high efficiency filtration with minimal PSID. The basic model’s 1500 PSIG rating makes it ideal for CNG, Fuel Gas, and Compression Service. We recommend the “70CS” grade element which provides 95%+ removal at 0.01 microns. As importantly, the element’s microfiber structure allows quick drainage which assures low pressure drops in coalescing service, therefore extending element life.
